Workshop History
In the heart of Bogotá, where dreams and dedication converge, the story of Blumarino Leather has been a journey from humble beginnings to a shining beacon of craftsmanship. Our narrative is woven with the essence of perseverance and passion, beginning in the personal home of our founder, Edgar Beltrán.
FIRST STITCHES
From the first stitches in Edgar’s home workshop, every seam was a step toward realizing a bold dream. The hands that started this journey were the same ones that guided each thread, each detail, with a commitment that went beyond crafting leather accessories—it was about creating a lasting legacy.
This natural growth led Blumarino to establish itself in a modest workshop on the top floor of downtown Bogotá. Here, among the whispers of the city’s history, our products were crafted with love and care. Each piece carried the echo of our humble beginnings and the promise of artisanal excellence.
Today, Blumarino Leather is located in one of Bogotá’s most iconic blocks, surrounded by buildings that have witnessed Colombia’s national history. This change not only represents physical growth but also symbolizes the evolution of a dream that transcends boundaries.
The pandemic led us to look inward, rediscover our roots, and renew our commitment to quality and authenticity. In the process of rebuilding our space from scratch, we found strength in adversity, inspiration in resilience, and determination to keep the flame of craftsmanship alive.
Every stitch, every piece of leather, now comes to life in a workshop that not only holds the history of our creations but also tells a story of perseverance and renewal. Blumarino Leather, now more than ever, embodies a dream that has evolved, strengthened, and flourished in the heart of Bogotá. Our workshop is not just a space; it is a testament to the ability to transform challenges into opportunities and to the beauty that emerges when woven with love and resilience.
